Marketing your restaurant can be time consuming, especially when you are also the waiter, the chef, the call taker as well as having responsibilities of owner.

In October this year local restaurant business owner, Kadir Mohammad contacted us to help grow awareness of his soon to open Indian restaurant and takeaway in Albert Road, Southsea

About Kadirs

Kadir’s Indian Street Kitchen is not your typical Indian Restaurant. Based in the heart of Southsea, the food at Kadir’s is simple yet remarkable. Made from high quality ingredients, cooked earnestly and offered in a considered and regularly changing menu that spans Indian street food, cross regional curries and tandoori specialties.


We were tasked with coming up with creative brand and social media campaign to increase awareness prior to the grand opening of Kadir’s. The challenge was to get the audience to engage with the brand and to build a desire to join Kadir at his opening night as well as book table reservations moving forward.

Kadir had an idea of what he wanted for the brand but it was down to us to bring it to life. We set about creating a unique brand for Kadir with his USP being that he is the only Indian restaurant and takeaway in Hampshire to offer the variety of authentic Indian dishes that he does.

We designed a logo which would be able to be clearly recognised and built We then launched Kadir on popular social channels including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook on the lead up to the grand opening.

We created a ‘Coming Soon’ video for Kadir’s Indian Restaurant social media channels, we shot and edited this video and later published through various channels with great engagement and reach.

Grand Opening Success

We found our ‘Opening Soon’ video to be extremely effective and the Grand Opening was a HUGE success, with over 100 people attending and sampling the tastes of REAL India thanks to the authentic recipes passed down through the Kadir family.

Social Media Results

After just 6 weeks we have organically grown Facebook likes from 0 up to 220. Kadir’s Indian currently has 393 Twitter followers which is growing daily as is Instagram.
